Near Death Experience

Yesterday we went to the pond to feed the ducks. I was crouching down to take a picture of Cooper when all of a sudden I hear Mason yell "Jess! Watch Out!" Well, it was too late, a giant goose (it doesn't look all that big in the picture) rammed into my back at full speed. It scared me so bad that I almost peed my pants. I'm surprised that I'm still living today to tell the story. Just kidding, but it really did scare the heck out of me. I'm just glad it didn't run into Cooper it definately would have knocked him into the water and he'd probably be scarred for life, forever terrified of ducks and geese.

Oh man! I'm so glad your OK! Goose are the devils!!! I'm still scarred from when I was 6 or 7, with my Brownie group in Irvine, innocently feeding the ducks when a HUGE goose, (like yours) came up and bit me in the bummy! I still get paranoid when we take the boys to feed the ducks- usually I need Russ with me to help me to be brave enough!
Needless to say- I'm so glad you lived because we are going to PARTY in 3 weeks, and I would be so so devastated if you weren't there!!!

My kids love feeding the ducks, too - the last time we went Eva tried to jump in the pond and I had to hold her back. Then when I let go of her hand she made a really sneaky mad dash and I barely caught her in time! Are you guys in Bountiful? The reason I ask is because Nate has PT and speech therapy in Bountiful and we go up there a lot!
