The Final Days....

This picture was taken on Sunday, 37 weeks pregnant. I am scheduled to be induced this coming weekend (my amniotic fluid is low), but Dane could come any minute. I was in the hospital Sunday night to be checked out and the nurse said that she'd be surprised if I made it until Friday. My mom already bet me $100 saying he would be born the other night, she was wrong. Maybe this is a good way to make a little money, anyone else want to place a bet. Just kidding. We can't wait to hold little Dane in our arms and we're so happy that it will be so soon.

Run Away With Cirque Du Soleil

On Saturday Mason ran a 5k at the Springs preserve, his brother Warren, brother-in-law Jordan, and fellow Team Chasqui member Mike also ran it. It was really fun because Cirque Du Soleil was sponsoring it and had a lot of characters there. Cooper and his cousin Parker had fun practicing their circus tricks.

After the race we came home and crashed.

Happy Birthday Jason!

My younger brother Jason turned 22 on the 18th. Jason has been living in Ethiopia off and on for a couple of years now and I miss him very much. He is truly one of the most kind, loving and unselfish people I have ever known and I am so grateful that he is my brother. I love you Jason!

Problem Solved

Cooper loves being wrapped up nice and tight in a towel with his arms inside after a shower, the problem with that is the towel inevitably always falls off at some point. Whenever the towel falls off it makes silly Cooper very upset and frustrated. One day we told Mason's mom this and she found the perfect solution. Grandma ordered Cooper the cutest little robe with matching slippers. Cooper LOVES it and wants to wear the robe all day long after his shower everyday.

Let's go fly a kite...

The weather has been absolutely perfect lately, it's supposed to be in the upper 70's to low 80's all week. Mason has been super busy studying lately, but on Saturday he took a little break and we brought Cooper to the park to fly a kite for the first time. Cooper thought it was totally awesome, we had a lot of fun!

Surprise!!!

On Sunday we went over to Mason's parents house for Sunday dinner like we do every Sunday. When we got there, there were balloons outside, as soon as we saw them we looked at each other wondering whose birthday we forgot? When we went inside everything was decorated really cute, and we were really confused. Mason's family said "Surprise!" and we still didn't know what was going on. We had to ask, "What do you mean surprise?" It was a surprise baby shower for me, I had no idea and Mason had no idea.

Thank you so much you guys, especially Joanne, Heather, Janel & Alison. It really meant a lot to me.

Well Done Alison!!!

My sister-in-law Alison and I both got pregnant around the same time, our due dates were only 2 weeks apart, but she was pregnant with twins so the due date doesn't really count for much. Alison had her 2 beautiful babies on Tuesday and all is well, she did a great job of keeping those babies in as long as possible. Benson Tate and Lia Kate were 4lbs 10oz and 4lbs 11oz. They are absolutely precious and beautiful little miracles. Well done and congratulations Alison & Dennis! (I hope you guys don't mind that I borrowed this picture from your blog)

This picture of Alison & I was taken on Sunday, just 2 days before she had her babies.

Name Change

Baby Rivers has now been re-named Baby Dane. We can't wait to meet our little DANE Duff about 1 month from now!!!

Thanks Mom

Two weeks ago my mom flew down here from Oregon to see our new place and to help us get things ready for our baby to come. It was so much fun to have her here, and we had a blast shopping and hanging out, but like always her visit flew by and it was over too soon. Thank you so much mom, I love you!

While she was here we set up the changing table and that day Cooper climbed onto it and stayed there for like an hour pretending that he was a baby and begging me to put one of the tiny newborn diapers on him. He also found one of the new pacifiers that we bought and started sucking on it and freaked out when we took it away, what a silly boy.

Cooper had a blast playing with Grammy all weekend and having a slumber party with her in his room.
