Visiting Grandma & Grandpa Burton
On our way home from Utah we stopped to see my Grandparents. It was so great to see them. Cooper had lots of fun setting up train tracks with Grandma in the basement, and Grandpa showed Cooper their "secret garden" in the backyard. We love you both so much, and wish that we could have stayed longer.

Ragnar Wasatch Back Relay - 188 MILES!
On June 19-20 Mason ran the Ragnar Wasatch Back relay. The relay is 188 miles long, it starts in Logan and finishes in Park City, Utah. Just like last year he ran for Team Chasqui, the team is made up of 12 people, his brother Warren and two brothers-in-law Jordan & Dennis are also on the team (Jordan started the team) as well as his cousin & her husband. Each person runs three legs of the race. Mason's first leg was 3.5 miles then 9.6 miles and his final leg was 3.6 miles. He started running his 2nd leg sometime around 3 in the morning. Do you have any idea how far 9.6 miles is? And running it in the middle of the night,. The relay slogan is "Run. Drive. Sleep? Repeat." His last leg was 3.6 miles, which isn't very long (further than I can run) but it was classified as "very hard" because it was a "severe uphill climb" ouch! Mason is my hero!
Team Chasqui finished in 29 hours 39 minutes shaving 20 minutes off of last years time! Not only that, this years race was 7 miles longer than last year's race and they still managed to beat their time!
Way To Go Everyone!

ps: Thank you Allan for a lot of the pictures.
Playing with the Nielsen Boys
We took a trip to Utah the weekend of the 20th. While we were there we met up with my cousin Lizzy and her cute boys at the park. Cooper had so much playing with Doyle, Logan and Andy. On our way back to Las Vegas Cooper said "Mom, I want to play with Lizzy some more." Lizzy is pretty cool, but I think that he really meant he wanted to play with her boys.

A boy's pure delight
A couple of weeks ago we were at Mason's parents house for dinner. Our scooter has been parked over there covered by a tarp ever since we moved here to Las Vegas. Mason told Cooper that he would take him for a ride on the scooter if he was a good boy. Allan (Mason's Dad) took this great picture of Cooper right as Mason was taking the tarp off of the scooter.
Dane's 2 month check-up
Dane had his 2-month check-up last week. He had to get 3 shots, poor boy.
13 lbs 6 oz : 75 -90 percentile
24 inches long : 75 -90 percentile
I seriously cannot believe how big he is already. The doctor kept saying how "built" he is and that maybe he has viking blood in him or something. It's so weird because Dane and Cooper were both born 3 weeks early and they were both breastfed, but Cooper has always been little, Cooper was 4 months old by the time he weighed as much as Dane does at 2 months, and Cooper was only 23 inches long at 4 months. I love my two cute boys, my little Cooper and my big Dane.

Dane's first sewing lesson...
The other night Mason was out running with Cooper (Cooper was in the running stroller) and I was home alone with Dane. I was trying to sew some little drawstring bags to use for organizing some of Cooper's toys. I tried putting Dane in his bouncer, and in his swing, but all that did was make him mad because he REALLY wanted to be held. So I put him on my lap and he was perfectly happy just sitting there and watching me sew. This is how Mason found us when he came home, Mason would probably prefer that I do a more "manly" activity with him next time.

Dane's Blessing
Dane was blessed on Sunday. Mason gave him a beautiful blessing. My parents flew into town for the weekend, we had so much fun while they were here, and I'm so grateful that they were able to come. Mason's whole family came to our ward for the blessing even though it was at 9 am, and a lot of them live across town. Thanks everyone!
