Wednesday night my sister
Jennalise was at a church activity and jumped up and hit the top of a
door frame with her hand, her CTR ring got caught on a screw poking out and ripped her finger off. I asked her yesterday how bad it hurt when it happened, she said "it didn't hurt" now that is a tough girl!
She was in surgery for over 6 hours that night, they managed to sew the pieces back together (one big piece was found in the garbage can at the church, someone threw it away thinking it was a fake finger) and as long as it doesn't get infected she will get to keep her finger. The surgeon was only able to repair one of the 2 nerves that were ruined, but at least she will have a finger!

I can't believe this. I saw your Mom's FB status yesterday and meant to ask you what exactly happened. Wow, I can't believe someone threw her finger away and it was able to be recovered and sewn back on. What a story. Your sister is a real trooper.
OH my gosh!!! That's crazy!!! Shouldn't she be BLESSED for wearing her CTR ring instead of losing her finger? haha. That's terrible! That happened to my Mom, she lost her finger in a horse riding accident and the neighbors found her finger and threw it away! although, it was too late to sew it back on. lol. Luckily your sis found hers in time!

I think a just threw up a little in my mouth. I guess that is what you get for wearing a CTR Ring. Just kidding!!!
Jessica that is absolutely crazy and disgusting. I cannot believe she has a smile on her face in those pictures! She is ONE TOUGH GIRL.
