Life is a Gift

In the middle of August, one of the Duff's close family friends, Rob Hale suddenly had a brain hemorrhage on the left side of his brain. Mason grew up two houses away from Rob, Rob has a wife and two adorable little boys, he graduated from 4 years of dental school and was just a few weeks away from completing his 2 year endodontic residency when tragedy struck out of nowhere. Rob's wife, Mercedi posts an update on his condition each day, I have been inspired by her faith, her love for her husband and the miracles that are taking place in their lives. Here is the link to their blog: http://helpingthehales.blogspot.com/

I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and my boys and that we are so healthy, life is truly a gift and it's always good to be reminded of how precious life truly is and how quickly things can change.

This video was made by Lauren Wilkins for the Hales.

Congrats on Dental School, that is great news. And really really sad story for the next. There is a good book that gives some insight into strokes and AVM's called "My Stroke of Insight" here is the url

It took her 7 years to fully recover, but she did recover.

I had a chance to hear her speak and she gives a great presentation. Here is her presentation on a TED talk

Pass it on to your friends if you think it will help

Again congrats. Also I am glad when people going through disasters know about miracles.
