New Family Toy

Thursday Mason picked up a fun new toy on his lunch break, a little 110 cc Pit Bike. He found a really great deal on Craigslist, and said he wanted something really fun to do with his boys, he promised they would always wear helmets, and I was sold on the idea.  We took it out to the desert by our house for the first time on Saturday, and we all loved it, especially Cooper and Dane, we had two very happy little boys on our hands!

Fun with Gramps

Last week my Dad was here in Las Vegas on Business, he was super stressed and busy all week but he extended his trip an extra day so that he could stay and play with us. We had a blast, the boys sure love their Gramps! Friday night we went to dinner at Outback, then went to the movies to see the Lorax. Saturday morning my Dad pulled the boys in the bike trailer and they went on a 3-hour bike ride exploring the dessert, they came home with pockets full of bullet shells and other boy treasures. Then we drove the Redrock loop and Cooper, Dane & Gramps made friends with a couple of wild Burroughs. Next we went to Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, and lastly we finished off the day with yummy shakes & burgers at In n Out. I'm so glad that my Dad stayed an extra day with us, we had a great time with him, and the boys loved every minute of it!

Quick visit from the Sealys

Last week our good friends, the Sealys were in town and stopped by for a quick visit. It was great getting to catch up with Jackie for a few hours, while Cooper, Dane, Kenna and Halee played together. We sure miss them, and can't wait for them to move back to Las Vegas the end of this year!
